Time in Hell
'Time' fue una recopilación del sello Matador recogiendo algunas de las canciones más significativas relacionadas con el músico, actor, poeta, escritor, artista, crítico y pionero del punk Richard Hell. La portada reflejaba en detalle un tatuaje que la presentadora de televisión Paula Yates lucía como homenaje a Richard, quien fuera su amante durante una temporada. La presentadora retocó el tatuaje cuando se casó con el cantante de los Boomtown Rats, Bob Geldof pero, interrogada sobre Hell, declaró que fue muy importante en su vida ya que, entre otras cosas, fue un maestro iniciático en las artes amatorias. Pero también coincidía con una época en la que Hell, además de participar en la politoxicomania imperante en el ambiente, era adicto a la heroína. Parece ser que Yates tiene cierta fijación por los cantantes, pues dejó a Geldof por el malogrado cantante de INXS.
'Time' was a compilation of the Matador label collecting some of the most significant songs related to the musician, actor, poet, writer, artist, critic and punk pioneer Richard Hell. The cover reflected in detail a tattoo that television host Paula Yates wore in tribute to Richard, who was her lover for a while. She covered the tattoo when she married Boomtown Rats singer Bob Geldof, but questioned about Hell, she said he was very important in her life because, among other things, was an early teacher in the loving arts. But it also coincided with a time when Hell, in addition to participating in the prevailing politoxicomania, was addicted to heroin. It seems Yates has a fixation for singers, for she left Geldof for the ill-fated INXS singer.
