'El Lobo de Wall Street' es una magnífica película de Scorsese basada en un hecho real en la que DiCaprio interpreta los delirios por los que se maneja un estafador bursátil, en definitiva un retrato más de la ambición humana. Irónicamente la desmedida fiesta del estreno, financiada por la misma compañía que sufragó una producción tan cara, levantó sospechas. La posterior investigación periodística, convertida inevitablemente en un asunto judicial, destapa el desfalco billonario que sufría el pueblo malayo a cargo de su gobierno. De todo ello y más da cuenta este documental.
'The Wolf of Wall Street' is a brilliant Scorsese film based on real events in which Dicaprio puts into act the delusions by which a stock market scammer is handled, at the end another portrait of human ambition. Ironically the excessive party of the premiere, financed by the same company that supported such an expensive production, raised suspicions. The subsequent journalistic investigation, inevitably turned into a judicial matter, unveils a huge embezzlement by the Malaysian government. This documentary reveals the whole proccedure.
