'Mil Besos' ['A Thousand Kisses'] is a photo series made between 2007 and 2008 by prestigious Colombian photographer based in New York Ruven Afanador, a tribute to women in the Flamenco music scene and to passionate women in general, using as background for the portraits mainly quarries on the outskirts of Seville and Jerez. The visual strength of the pictures earned him one of them being selected for the promo poster of the 2008 Bienal de Flamenco de Sevilla during which the collection was exhibited in the main street of the city.
