Born Bad Records es una pequeña discográfica francesa, nacida de una tienda de discos parisina y bautizada así por unas recopilaciones piratas de las canciones que versionearon los Cramps. Ningún criterio musical definido parece caracterizar sus publicaciones más allá de lanzar a nuevas bandas del underground francés de estilos muy diversos, además de recopilaciones de antiguas rarezas musicales galas y algunas bandas sonoras. Se podría decir que La Femme, una peculiar banda de pop-punk seudo bailable, es el éxito más considerable del catálogo. Jean-Baptiste Guillot es el responsable de esta empresa casi suicida en los tiempos que corren. También se ha lanzado puntualmente a la organización de eventos como exposiciones temáticas o conciertos de las bandas de su sello y ha apoyado interesantes libros.
Born Bad Records is a small French record label, born in a Parisian record store and named after some amateur compilations of songs covered by the Cramps. It seems no musical criteria defines its catalog but launching new French underground bands or compilations of old rarities and some soundtracks. La Femme, a peculiar danceable punk-pop band, is quite probably the biggest success to this date in the label. Jean Baptiste Guillot is responsible for this sort of suicidal effort, considering these times. He has also organized some events such as thematic exhibitions or concerts of bands from the label and has supported some interesting books.
