Nancy Cunard fue una icónica y emblemática socialité, hija de aristócratas, que creció habituada al ambiente bohemio. Al parecer notoria alcohólica y promiscua, destacó como activista contra el racismo y el fascismo, primera editora de autores como Robert Graves o Samuel Beckett, esculpida por Brancussi y retratada por Cecil Beaton, Man Ray o Cartier-Bresson entre muchos otros y amante de Louis Aragon o Aldous Huxley. Desarrolló una estimable labor propia de escritura y poesía.

Apparently notorious alcoholic and promiscuous, outstanding as an activist against racism and facism, first editor of authors such as Robert Graves or Samuel Beckett, sculpted by Brancussi and portrayed by Cecil Beaton, Man Ray or Cartier-Bresson among many others and lover of Louis Aragon or Aldous Huxley. She developed a remarkable own work of writing and poetry.
