Ya está lista la reedición via internet de una grabación histórica, llamada 'Omega' y realizada en 1996 conjuntamente por uno de los más reconocidos cantaores flamencos actuales, Enrique Morente, y un grupo de after-punk-trash-metal, Lagartija Nick, ambos de Granada. Además colaboraron músicos excepcionales que suelen acompañar al flamenco y supuso el debut discográfico de su hija, Estrella Morente. Fue todo un sacrilegio para parte del ambiente flamenco (y eso lo convierte en un trabajo muy valiente), pero era una colección tan apabullante y potente que se situó entre los mejores discos en las listas de la prensa musical. El concepto era adaptar textos del 'Poeta en Nueva York' de Lorca, su poemario más surrealista y descarnado, y canciones de Leonard Cohen (el artista canadiense es un apasionado admirador de la obra de Lorca). Habrá minigira y si crees que te puede gustar no dudes en hacer lo que esté en tu mano para acudir a alguna de las citas. Te levantarán del suelo.
It's ready the reissue via Internet of a historic recording by the name of 'Omega' wich was jointly conducted in 1996 by one of the greatest current "Flamenco" singers , Enrique Morente, and after-punk-trash-metal band, Lagartija Nick, both from Granada (in south Spain) as the singer. It was also played by exceptional musicians who often play with the artist and stands as the recording debut of her daughter, Estrella Morente, now a Flamenco star. It was like a sacrilege to many of the "Flamenco" critics, but it was a collection so overwhelming and powerful that was placed immediately as one of the best records of all time in the music press that is done here. The concept was adapting texts from the 'Poet in New York' by Federico Garcia Lorca, his poems more stark and surreal, and to cover some Leonard Cohen songs (who is a well known Lorca enthusiast). There is also a brief tour and if you think you may be pleased by it do everything in your hand to go to any of the appointments.
