Kid Thomas en una pequeña recopilación de Norton Records. No confundir con un trompetista de Jazz de Nueva Orleans con el mismo nombre y más popular, este desafortunado bluesman de Chicago con un toque de rock'n'roll a lo Little Richard y un peinado imposible, además de todo tipo de trabajos para pagar la renta, tocaba en los años 50s la harmónica y la batería en clubes para otros como Muddy Waters, Elmore James, Howlin' Wolf o Bo Diddley aunque tomaría más tarde el micrófono para grabar algunos singles y dar algunos conciertos con su nombre. Su vida tuvo un final trágico y prematuro al ser disparado por el padre de un chico al que atropelló accidentalmente.
