Gallon Drunk·'The Rotten Mile'
'The Rotten Mile' is the last record to this day by the cool blues-rock London band Gallon drunk (who in some tunes seem notably influenced by The Birthday Party). Edited in 2008, it is probably their most accesible one and to me it contains some of their finest tunes. The singer is also a member of Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds since he joined as a replace for Blixa Bargeld. And another record that I've been enjoying a lot is the soundtrack Gallon Drunk composed in 2000 for a film called 'Black Milk', something different from what they usually play for it is quite a groovy one.
