B.B. King, 1949. Fotografía de The Hooks Brothers.
B.B. King, 1949. Photograph by The Hooks Brothers. Still known by his given name, Riley King, the blues musician had just moved to Memphis sharing home there with his cousin, bluesman Bukka White, when this picture was taken at a Beale Street portrait photography Studio. King would soon become a famous WDIA radio DJ (as you can see written in the guitar), gaining notoriety by his nickname "Blues Boy" or, as shortened, B.B.
