Vincent Gallo

Filmmaker, actor, writer, musician, producer, painter, photographer, avid collector of all kind of vintage or fine music items, incendiary bigmouth slagger in interviews, self-categorized many times as unpleasant and difficult but at the same time composer and performer of a very personal sensitive, simple, repetitive and mellow music... No matter that he seems to label his art as elitist stuff or that he might be a radical conservative if one is to believe his own words (or maybe it is all a private joke or a twisted way of self-promotion) but I value Vincent Gallo mainly for two things, his 1998 weird film masterpiece 'Buffalo 66' and this album he published in 2001, quite noticeable but very special (like all his stuff, for better and for worse).
