Varios artistas·'The First Rock'n'Roll Record'
An awesome compilation that follows the question of which was the very first rock'n'roll song. As the collection shows the term even appeared in a song from early last century and although the (doubtful) general rule is that you can consider the 1951 'Rocket 88' by Jackie Breston and his orchestra (wich really was Ike Turner's band with his sax player on vocals as recorded by Sam Philips) as such, there are many precedents, some of which can be heard on this record along with the said song. In fact it seems the song was based on another one, 1947 'Cadillac Boogie' by Jimmy Liggins. The inner text does not clear out over the question but states "whatever it is, it's probably here."
