Push The Sky Away

Watching Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds' show in Los Angeles (Fonda Theatre, 21st February) from the current world tour presenting the recently released new album 'Push The Sky Away'. Broadcasted live by RFB and re-broadcasted exclusively for the following 24 hours, it has appeared re-uploaded all over YouTube and appears as easily as it disappears. If someone wants to enjoy it through the link down here better hurry up and leave what you are doing for probably "spoilers" will rush to present file rights complaint (hey, just in case I must say I have nothing to do with that link, I only found it). The concert is divided in two acts (broadcasted using black and white and color to separate each), a first part in wich the band performs the new album in its entirety with a children's choir in the background and a second one playing a selection of tracks from the band's extensive discography. In this current tour founding members Mick Harvey and Blixa Bargeld are no longer with them, but a long time gone member is back, Barry Adamson that is, who departed many years ago to pursue his own musical career. The show lasts almost 2 hours, surely a longer version than the shows they will play in Festivals.
