Tomados en eventos de onda siniestra en clubes y discotecas italianas, sobre todo en Roma, estos numerosísimos retratos (unos cuatrocientos) realizados por Dino Ignani en los primeros 80s en espacios neutros de aquellos locales venían a reflejar la influencia de las bandas músicales de nuevos románticos y ola oscura en la moda de aquel entonces.
