Anoche a la vuelta de una salida nocturna tuve la suerte de encontrarme con un mensaje del misterioso Moses Luster, código promocional incluido, para bajarme gratuitamente su nueva grabación 'Hangman's Door' (que haría la tercera de su discografía). Fabuloso disco para digerir el largo paseo y los licores y dormir plácidamente. Regalos inesperados que te brinda seguir obstinado en el error y mantenerse activo en esta extraña tarea moderna y prácticamente inútil de mantener un blog y promover material cultural de mi interés. En cualquier caso su música se puede disfrutar públicamente y adquirir en bandcamp. Y gracias.

Con el tercer álbum en estudio de Moses Luster la banda se ha centrado en hacer honor a su sonido a la vez que en explorar nuevos territorios.
Moses Luster permanece fiel a su primer y segundo disco pero mezclando
la exploración de instrumentos musicales con sonidos electrónicos y la
voz grave y cascada de Moses Luster. En 'The Night' la banda examina el
romanticismo ambiental de sintetizadores y banjos, mientras que 'The
Dirt' es una exploración sobria e hipnotizante de cómo enfrentarse a la
muerte, y 'Hangman's Door' encuentra a Moses aceptando el destino
mientras se enfrenta a problemas serios.
Mientras el álbum mantiene la consistencia con respecto a sus

Last night back from a night out I was lucky enough to get a hold of a promotional and friendly message from mysterious Moses Luster, including a code to download for free the new recording 'Hangman's Door' (which makes the third in Moses' discography). It was a fabulous drive to a peaceful sleep after a long walk and booze indulging. Unexpected gifts that once in a while are brought to me as a result of being an obstinate in my mistakes and keeping up with this strange modern practice and useless habit of maintaining a blog and promoting stuff of my interest. With Moses Luster’s third studio album release the band has focused on honing their sound while exploring some new diversions.
Moses Luster stays true to their first and second release however with explorations of traditional instruments mixed with electronic sound and Moses Luster’s gravely, wind beaten voice. In “The Night” the band examine the moody romanticism of synths and banjo, while “The Dirt” is a sober and haunting exploration of coming to terms with death, while “Hangman’s Door” find’s Moses accepting his fate while facing down bigger troubles.
While the album is consistent with their previous releases, Moses Luster has been exploring their country side with the tracks” Until I’m Saved” (which was featured on the season finale of Discovery’s “Bering Sea Gold”) and the rolling, road-weary song “Sorrowtown”.
While the album continues along the path of previous releases of exploring the drudgery of everyday lives of drunks, losers, and broken hearts, the band continues to try and explore new territory with upbeat tracks, most notably “Come Along With Us” and “I Got You”. mixed while poking at their heroes and where the world is headed in “Sold Out”, written after being floored by witnessing Bob Dylan selling cars during last year’s Super Bowl.
