Disfrutando de la buena compañía de la (extrañamente sensual) música de Anita Lane, amiga y ex-pareja de Nick Cave, también muy vinculada a otros músicos de la órbita de la Birthday Party y los Bad Seeds. En este disco del 2001 incluso se marcaba un 'Je t'aime moi non plus' (el clásico de Serge Gainsbourg) con Nick Cave. Los instrumentos, arreglos y producción del compañero de fechorías de éste, Mick Harvey, están presentes en todas las canciones como ya sucediera en sus primeras ediciones, aquel 'Dirty Pearl' de 1993, o aquel 'Dirty Sings' de 1988 que supuso el debut formal de la co-autora del 'From Her To Eternity' de Nick Cave, grabaciones más "difíciles" y oscuras que este 'Sex O`clock', muy recomendable a pesar de que si nos ponemos críticos a mí me sobran un par de versiones que parecen más bien material de Cara B. Y ya se sabe, no hay que fiarse de las caras dulces que tienen mucho peligro...

'Sex O `clock' is highly recommendable, only thing maybe one or two of the several cover versions to be found here sound more like B-side stuff. And you know, sweet little faces are not to be trusted...
