'PM ', which stands for Post Meridian but may be understood as an irony of Cuban revolutionary slogan "Patria o Muerte', is a short film of about 13 minutes filmed in December 1960 and edited in 1961 by filmmaker Orlando Jimenez and the older brother of writer Guillermo Cabrera Infante, Saba, the shootage showing a typical night of rumba in Cuba in that documentary-style of the free cinema of the time. The piece was censored because of the wrath that the irreverent attitude of those intellectuals caused in Fidel Castro. He took it as a mockery of the revolutionary spirit as he preached that all Cuba was in arms in favour of Revolution but the film seemed to show that Cuba was really still in a constant party. The affront costed them exile along with others as Nestor Almendros and Guillermo Cabrera Infante, who shared concerns and were all under suspicion.
