In 2006, and due to an assignment, photographer Jimmy Williams discovered the Music Maker Relief Foundation, an organization dedicated to the support of true pioneers and real roots of the United States Southern music. Since then he's been photographing with some periodicity some of those musicians for his 'Music Makers' portraits series.
