La versión de Luna de aquel Bonnie and Clyde que cantaron Serge Gainsbourg y Brigitte Bardot en el 68 estaba incluida en su álbum de 1995 'Penthouse' y es bastante fiel a la original. En contra de lo que pudiera pensar quien conozca la historia reciente de su cantante Dean Wareham la voz femenina no pertenece a Britta Philips, ambos pareja sentimental y artística (como Dean & Britta) y que militaron juntos en la época final de Luna, sino a Lætitia Sadier (de Stereolab), que colaboró en la versión. Este Ep contiene dos mezclas distintas de la canción bajo el subtítulo 'The Bonnie Parker Version' y 'The Clyde Barrow Version' y un par de temas extras.
La canción, como tantos otros temas emblemáticos de Gainsbourg, ha sido ampliamente versionada por distintos artistas, entre ellos recientemente Lulu Gainsbourg junto a Scarlett Johansson, en lo que fue un single extraído del disco homenaje a su padre del primero, titulado 'From Gainsbourg to Lulu' (2011).
